Moved jobs, got a new email address or just want to change it? Here is how.
The first thing to know is that there are two separate items you can change your email for:
You can change your account email, which will change the email you use to 'sign-in' to Haystack; or
You may want to change the email address on your digital business card (which you give others).
To change your account email address
Open the Haystack app on your phone
Go to the settings page (bottom right corner on iOS, or Top left corner on Android devices)
tap "change the email you sign in with" (by tapping your name at the top on iOS, or Scrolling to the bottom on Android) and follow the prompts
To change the email address on your card
Open the Haystack app on your phone
Tap the card you want to change the email for
Tap the 'edit' icon at the top right corner of the screen
Edit the email address field and tap 'save'
Note: In some rare cases the process of changing the email address may trigger our security algorithm to block the change and you will get a message that your email address cannot be changed.
