We let you edit other people's card details so you can fix any mistakes made by the scanning process.

Haystack uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to read text from the photos of the business cards you scan. When the image quality is low (due to poor lighting conditions, shadows, or out of focus image), the information may be less accurate.

Note: Our learning algorithm learns from your corrections so it doesn't make the same mistake again

You can 'verify' ownership of your card if you don't want other people to edit it. You can check to make sure your card is 'verified' by:

1. Tap on the 'three lines'/'three dots' at the top of the screen

2. Tap 'Create a card'

3. Enter the email address that appears on your card and follow the prompts

If the card hasn't been verified, you will receive an email to help verify it.
